Rabbi Eli Munk was born in Koenigsburg in 1900. In 1930 he emigrated to the United Kingdom, where he was appointed to the Rabbinate of the Golders Green Beth Hamedrash congregation, where he served for 40 years. In 1970 he made Aliyah to Jerusalem, and passed away there in 1978. The archive comprises over 1,000 sheets, including poems, speeches, Torah novellae, letters and other assorted documents. Most of the material was written in Hebrew and English. The earliest section, written prior to 1930, the year Rabbi Munk left Koenigsberg, is in German. Some of the material is numbered and sorted and accompanied by a detailed index for referencing. (Some of the documents, although numbered and referred to in the index, are not included in the archive):
